About Cheap Market Insight
Free SEO tools and guides, without the paywall
Cheap Market Insight is an independent publisher of practical SEO and AI-search resources — plain-English guides paired with free, no-signup tools. This page explains what we do, how we research and test what we publish, and how we keep it all free.
Why we exist
Good SEO shouldn't require a $99-a-month subscription. Most of the checks that actually move the needle — title length, readability, keyword density, schema, sitemaps — are simple enough to run for free, yet they're usually locked behind trials and upsells. And most "SEO advice" online is either years out of date or written to sell a product rather than to help you decide.
We built Cheap Market Insight to fix both problems: a growing library of current, honest guides, and a set of free tools that do the essentials well and run right in your browser. You can see the full toolkit on our free SEO tools page.
What we cover
Our library spans the full modern search landscape, organised into five tracks:
- SEO fundamentals — how search works, keyword research, site architecture, and internal linking.
- Google algorithm & quality — core updates, E-E-A-T, information gain, and recovering from traffic drops.
- AI search & AEO — getting cited in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Gemini as search shifts to answer engines.
- Technical SEO — Core Web Vitals, crawl errors, mobile-first indexing, and structured data.
- Content strategy — topical authority, pillar-and-cluster models, and content refreshes.
Who's behind it
Cheap Market Insight is an independent, self-published SEO resource. Every guide and tool here is created and maintained by our editorial team — not outsourced to an anonymous content mill — and each piece is checked against primary sources before it goes live.

Research, tools & guides
We're SEO practitioners who publish what we use ourselves. Our work is grounded in primary documentation — Google Search Central, Search Console guidance, and official platform docs — rather than recycled hearsay, and our tools are built around the same thresholds those sources define. When guidance changes, we update the affected guides and tools.
How we research and test
We hold everything we publish to a consistent standard:
- Grounded in primary sources. Guidance comes from search engines' own documentation, not second-hand summaries.
- Tools tested against real pages. Each tool is checked against live examples and the published limits it measures — title pixel widths, Flesch readability, valid JSON-LD, and so on.
- Kept current. When search or platform guidance changes, we revisit the affected guides and tools rather than leaving stale advice up.
- Privacy by design. Our tools run in your browser, so your drafts and unpublished content aren't sent to or stored on our servers.
- We correct mistakes. Spot an error? Email us and we'll fix it — accuracy matters more to us than looking infallible.
What we stand for
Free, actually
No trials that expire, no "free" tools that demand an email first.
Privacy first
On-page checks run in your browser. We don't want your unpublished content.
Plain English
Clear results and advice, without jargon or fear-selling.
Honest & accurate
We'd rather say "it depends" than promise rankings we can't guarantee.
How we keep the tools free
Running a website costs money, so Cheap Market Insight is supported by advertising. Ads never influence our guides or tool results, and we clearly separate editorial content from paid placements. If we ever add affiliate links, we'll disclose them — and we'll only point to things we'd use ourselves.
